The BIG ET Anniversary LAN Post
It is only one and a half months until the 20th anniversary of Wolfenstein Enemy Territory. Read that carefully: twenty years! We are happy to have everybody come together once again. In this news, we want to provide players and viewers with all the important information regarding both the event and venue. Furthermore, we will try to answer all the questions we have received lately.
Many thanks to
The outline of this post is as follows:
The Venue
For people coming by car, we are happy to announce that there are supposed to be a sufficient number of parking spots right in front of the venue. You can take a look for yourself by clicking the link above and using the street view option that Google Maps offers. People coming by train should aim for the local train station that goes by the name of Purmerend Overwhere, which is less than 1 kilometer away by foot. Coming by bus? Please aim for the bus station: Koogsingel (in Purmerend), which is less than 400 meters away by foot.
Please note that the Netherlands offers a very well-designed and easy-to-use application for your phone: 9292. If you intend to use public transport during your stay, please install this app to make things much easier.
We kindly ask anyone attending the venue to be careful with all equipment. If something is damaged, please inform an admin or the staff from h20 before proceeding. Please note that food and drinks are NOT allowed in the gaming area. In case someone violates what is considered to be normal behavior, we reserve the right to exclude anyone from the venue without further notice.
The PCs in the venue are meant for Enemy Territory matches only. Do not use any of the PCs without the permission of the admins. The seats are fixed in advance. For that reason, there is no need to rush to the PCs for setup. If you do not know which PC is allocated to you, please ask an admin.
Smoking is only permitted outside the venue.
For further questions during the LAN, we will try to help as much as we can.

Draft Cup on LAN
The costs to sign up for the Draft Cup is 20 euros per player. In return, you will get to participate on Friday evening in a draft tournament. During the evening, four teams will get drafted, meaning that you'll participate in three matches matches. We try to aim for a BO4 format per match. Meaning that draws are permitted. After the draft cup is finished, a final ranking will be published to show which players are crowned Draft Champions.

These teams will compete for a spot in the Champion Group, which will follow immediately after the initial group stage. The Champion Group will consist of the top four OR five teams. On Sunday, the playoffs will commence. If there are eight teams, we will have two different playoff divisions: the Champion Playoffs and the Challenger Playoffs. If there are only seven teams, there will be one playoffs division for all teams.
